Girl About The House

'Girl About The House' is an interior home design and renovation company, run by husband and wife team Jan and John Rothwell. Jan is the creator, interior designer, painter, decorator and sometimes seamstress. John is the multi-skilled builder who can turn his hand to just about anything from plumbing, electrical work and plastering. Together, they make a great team; one that takes on most home renovation projects, often without the need to bring in additional tradesmen, however, should the need arise they have an extensive list of skilled-craftsmen who can be called upon.

Jan started working in the fields of budget interior design and decorating in 2000. The business in its current format was established in the Stockport area in 2009, working on house renovations and home interior design projects across South Manchester, in areas such as Marple, Hazel Grove and Tameside. More recently they have set up a new base in Market Drayton and are now offering renovation and home interior design services in the Shropshire area.

'Girl About The House' provides a friendly and cost-effective solution for homeowners who do not want the hassle of managing their home renovation project.
